John Fraschilla

John Fraschilla, an energetic Architectural Designer, was born and raised on Long Island, New York. He recently graduated with his Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) from the New York Institute of Technology.  While studying at NYiT, John was selected to a Cuba design study program where he designed artist housing in Havana, Cuba. He was one of eleven students who was able to visit Havana, Cuba. While in Havana he was able to present his design ideas to Havana’s planning board. John has also studied in Scandinavia on a summer abroad program traveling throughout Finland, Denmark and Sweden. He looks at traveling as a tool that he uses for designing often getting inspiration from traveling to new places. In John's free time he is a sports enthusiast, you can find him watching college basketball in the winter and playing softball in the summer.

My passion and great enjoyment for architecture, and the reason the older I get the more I enjoy it, is because I believe we - architects - can effect the quality of life of the people.
